On April 22, 2017, Dr. Linda Greer will welcome more than 500 “stars” to the 56th annual Picnic Under the Stars gala at the newly renovated Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch to support the American Cancer Society. This premiere fundraising event is one of the longest continuously held distinguished events in the Phoenix area, beginning in Barry Goldwater’s backyard in 1962 with chair Mrs. Robert Goldwater.
Proceeds from the event will help the American Cancer Society step closer to achieving a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer. Through groundbreaking research, free patient programs and services, and community outreach, the Society helps people stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against a disease that has taken too much from too many.
